Welcome to the Kleinmond Animal Welfare Society (KAWS)! We’re not your ordinary organization – we’re on a heartfelt mission to care for our community’s furry friends in Rooi Els, Pringle Bay, Betty’s Bay, Kleinmond, and Salandra. Our goal is simple but powerful: we take in unwanted, mistreated, and neglected pets and shower them with love and care. We’re passionate advocates for responsible pet ownership, which is why we promote sterilization for cats and dogs to control the overpopulation of pets in our area. At KAWS, we leave no stone unturned when it comes to the well-being of animals. We offer sterilization, dipping, vaccinations, deworming, and medical treatment to animals in low-income communities. For those who find themselves without a home, we open our doors and hearts, providing a safe haven until we can find them loving forever homes.
