Pet-Friendly Accommodation

River Goose Campsite is proud to be pet-friendly, welcoming your furry companions to join in on the fun. However, pets are only allowed by prior arrangement with management to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests. A small fee of R20 per dog per day applies. With its open spaces and serene surroundings, the campsite offers a fantastic setting for pets and their owners to unwind and explore together.

Accommodation Options

Campsites

River Goose Campsite features 22 spacious sites, most of which are grassy, shaded, and wheelchair accessible. Each campsite has its own braai facility, while a communal ablution block provides flush toilets, showers, and hot water. Although there is no electricity at the campsites, ice, and wood can be purchased at reception. The rate is R180 per adult per night, and children under six stay free. Pets are welcome at the campsites by arrangement.

Goose Cabin

For a more private experience, the Goose Cabin offers cozy accommodation with one bedroom, featuring a double bed and a sleeper couch. The cabin doesn’t have its own bathroom or kitchen, but it features solar lights and shares a communal bathroom. Guests can enjoy a small stoep and an outdoor braai area. The rate is R250 per adult per night, and children under six stay free, with the cabin accommodating two adults and two children. Pets are allowed by prior request.

Facilities

River Goose Campsite offers essential amenities to enhance your stay. Facilities include braai areas, wheelchair access, credit card facilities, ablution blocks, and secure parking on the premises. Guests must settle their accounts upon arrival, and they use all facilities at their own risk. Please avoid playing loud music or bringing unauthorized day visitors, as this disrupts the peaceful atmosphere. Only light fires in the designated braai areas, and remember that fishing is strictly catch-and-release.
