Kleinmond Animal Welfare Society

Kleinmond Animal Welfare Society (KAWS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the regions of Rooi Els, Pringle Bay, Betty’s Bay, Kleinmond, and Salandra. Our primary objective is to provide care for unwanted, mistreated, and neglected pets within the community. We actively advocate for and promote the sterilization of cats and dogs as a means to address the issue of unwanted breeding in an already overpopulated pet community. In our efforts to improve animal welfare, we offer a range of services including sterilization, dipping, vaccination, deworming, and treatment of illnesses for animals in low-income communities. Additionally, we provide a safe haven for homeless or surrendered animals until we can find them suitable and loving forever homes. Our commitment lies in ensuring the well-being of animals and promoting responsible pet ownership within the community we serve.
