SPCA – Swellendam

SPCA Swellendam is committed to advocating for the well-being of animals and preventing any form of cruelty towards them. They recognize that cruelty extends beyond just pets and encompasses farm animals and wildlife as well. Their organization places importance on animal welfare, whether it involves pets, animals on farms, those in transit, or at places of slaughter, and upholds the principles of the “Five Freedoms” as a standard for animal care. SPCA Swellendam actively engages in public education, exposes individuals involved in animal cruelty, enforces the Animal Protection Act, and encourages responsibility, care, and compassion towards all animals.
