Dead Animals Walking is an officially registered non-profit organization dedicated to combating the suffering of animals facing dire circumstances. These include situations of overpopulation, intentional cruelty, neglect, and a lack of education regarding proper animal care. We are also committed to rehabilitating and rescuing farm animals, as well as improving the lives of underprivileged children and families in the communities we serve. Our mission involves providing rescue, rehabilitation, relief, primary healthcare, sterilization, and educational initiatives in impoverished communities and farms throughout Cape Town. We rescue severely abused, neglected, and unwanted animals, providing them with rehabilitation and ultimately finding them loving homes. In cases where animals have no quality of life or a poor prognosis for recovery, we offer humane euthanasia as a form of relief.
