Cheryl Lyn’s Rescue Organisation

Our journey begins with a mixed breed stray female dog who had endured abuse, neglect, and was lost, residing in the bushes near Melkbosstrand. Despite initial difficulties in approaching her, Cheryl-Lyn Potgieter made a remarkable effort to gain her trust and rescue her. For three months, Cheryl-Lyn lived alone in the bushes, providing food and water daily. Eventually, she succeeded in winning the dog’s trust and proceeded to rescue, provide medical treatment, and rehabilitate her. The once frightened, neglected, and abused dog was given the name Daisy and now assists Cheryl-Lyn in caring for other rescued animals until they are ready to find new homes.
