Cape of Good Hope SPCA

Founded in 1872, the Cape of Good Hope SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) holds the distinction of being South Africa’s inaugural SPCA and is the oldest animal welfare organization in the nation. As a registered non-profit organization (NPO 003-244) and Public Benefit Organization (PBO 930004317), the SPCA relies on the generosity of compassionate individuals and corporations to sustain its vital operations.
