K9 Training Centre and Kennels

The inception of K9 Training Centre and Kennels took place in 1994 within the former Animal Anti Cruelty League Kennels on Doig Road, Ottery. Our humble beginnings featured a single kennel assistant and a total of fifteen kennels. During this phase, all training responsibilities were undertaken by the proprietor and manager, Shaamil Majiet. Initially recognized as K9 Security Services, the enterprise operated as a sole proprietorship, offering services such as specialized event security, training for dog handlers, boarding facilities, and training programs for boarded dogs. In the subsequent year, 1995, an expansion encompassed the provision of trained dogs on lease to security companies.
