Pet-Friendly Accommodation

Campsites

Enjoy the serene ambience of our 28 grass campsites nestled along the riverbank, some shaded by reeds. Each site offers powerpoints and modern ablution facilities. Don’t forget your braai grid for the communal braai areas. Safe swimming, tubing, and fishing in the river await, along with the option to bring your own canoe. Mountain biking and hiking trails add to the adventure. And for a relaxing soak, inquire about our wood-fired hot tubs available for rental.

Cottages

1. Bergzicht & Welgelee (Semi-Detached): Each cottage features a bedroom with a double bed and two single beds in the living area. Enjoy indoor and outdoor braai areas, as well as a spacious verandah. Accommodates up to 4 people. Welgelee boasts its own private wood-fired hot tub.
2. Citrus: Ideal for families, Citrus offers a queen size bed in the main bedroom, a double bed, and 2 single beds in the second bedroom. Plus, a separate small flatlet with a queen size bed. With a fireplace, outside braai area, and large verandah, it’s perfect for entertaining. Accommodates 6-8 people. Enjoy a private wood-fired hot tub on the verandah.
3. Uitsig Cottages: Perched on the hill with stunning views of the Riviersonderend mountain range, each of the four Uitsig cottages features a living room, two bedrooms (one with a queen size bed and en-suite, one with two single beds), and separate bathrooms. Indoor and outdoor braai facilities are available, along with a communal plunge pool (next to Uitsig 1). Each cottage has its own wood-fired hot tub on the patio.

Pet-Friendly Policy at Oewerzicht Farm

We welcome well-behaved dogs, with a maximum of 1 dog per cottage or 2 small dogs (by arrangement only). Please keep dogs on leads at all times, and note that owners will be held liable for any damage to farm animals. Meet our friendly Boxers, Anna and Frikkie, who may pop in to say hello during your stay.
