The journey of my love for animals began at the tender age of 5 while growing up on a farm. Witnessing injured farm animals ignited my desire to rescue and care for them. This passion led me to work at a veterinary clinic and later at a grooming parlour in Waterkloof. As time passed, the idea of establishing my own parlour took shape, and in 2003, I turned that dream into reality with Woof and Meow Mobile Pet Grooming. My vision was to offer a more personalized grooming experience for both the pet owners and their furry companions. To achieve this, I pursued studies in Animal Behaviour and later completed a grooming course. Initially a one-person venture, I later trained a team of skilled groomers who shared my passion and dedication. Unlike the conventional mobile van setup, I opted for an old-school approach to ensure the utmost comfort and safety for the animals. My mission was to avoid confining dogs in cages, prevent accidents such as falls from tables or baths, and provide a stress-free grooming environment. Now, after 15 years of successful operation, Woof and Meow has garnered a loyal clientele. Our dedication to excellence and compassionate care has earned us a reputation that keeps us fully booked for 8 months of the year, often with appointments scheduled one to two weeks in advance.
